… I am a bit over half way through this project (1 camera, 1 lens, 1 film). I figure this started in July-ish so that gives me about 6 months to go.

Honestly I feel like I have been shooting this combination for years already. This last month seemed to drag on. It didn’t help that B&H dropped the price of a new 5D MKII to less than 2k and that Adorama did the same with the 85L.

However, buying a lot of beer and food over Xmas has helped me remain too broke to buy these things, and therefore by default I am resolute in my project! It’s as if my short sightedness was rewarded. There’s a self help book there.

The downside to being a fiscal retard is that now I have something like 10 rolls of film to develop, probably stretching as far back as November with an assortment of crap that I have long since forgotten about.

So, the boulder has finally been pushed to the top of the hill and now I just have to chase it back down.

In other news, how good does the Fuji X-Pro 1 look?! I would buy a ‘rangefinder’ like this just for the auto focus. This manual focus business is not getting any easier.
